Ebonite BowlersMap is a video analysis
program which enables objective (data based) measurements to be
derived as it relates to evaluating a bowlers physical form (from
the approach to the foul-line). This is an excellent
supplement to Ebonite Digi-Trax. This program is being used by
some of the nations premier bowling coaches to isolate and
communicate focus areas to bowlers seeking to improve their game. This
tool is based on cutting edge technology. It allows coaches to
show students exactly what they're doing.
The following list shows some (not all)
of what BowlersMap communicates:
* Armswing Path
* Swing Profile
* Timing Variations
* Critical Release Characteristics (Rotational Rate, Ball
Speed, Axis Rotation, Axis Tilt)
* Allows comparison of 2 bowlers simultaneously
* Ball to Ankle laydown offset
* Etc....
I mainly utilize this program to illustrate to bowlers the following
concepts:
* Why their ball-path is the shape that it is.
* How their fundamentals affect the path of the ball.
* Quirks in their delivery of the ball.
Very much like Digi-Trax, this program forces the bowler to
acknowledge variations in their fundamentals. The issues are
revealed in black and white. Data-driven and
unchallengeable. Students are much more open to addressing
their weaknesses when they are shown the errors of their ways using
this technology.
In summary, BowlersMap greatly helps coaches identify focus areas
related to a students fundamentals. Furthermore, this tool
greatly aids the coaches ability to communicate in an accurate,
concise, and data-based fashion. How sound are your
fundamentals? Let BowlersMap identify what's really going on. |
